Among the earliest images dazme made inside Grand Theft Auto, RIOT captures a molotov at the peak of its arc, its thrower still low on the sidewalk, the city softening into bokeh beyond. Tentative in the way first photographs often are, it marks the moment a virtual street, caught mid-conflagration, revealed itself as a place worth documenting the spark for everything that followed.
